We made a quick detour to Littlehampton seafront last week, where it was a warm day with a handful of people scattered across the seafront, sat or lying down enjoy the beach and weather.
We didn’t visit the main beach, instead opting to park near the Littlehampton Golf Course, walking across wood slats to the beach, next to a fort now claimed by nature. This section of the seafront was mainly stone with a sharp drop to the sand.
It was quiet apart from the wind and was a pleasant location to visit. If I was a local I would no-doubt enjoy the quiet spot off season, looking for fossil in the stones, whilst enjoying the relaxing seafront and if open, popping into the nearby café for a drink.
