The title was almost ‘To infinity and beyond!’, but I went for the more sedate post title. This is the birthday card my wonderful girlfriend made for me. As you might know I’m a space geek, so a space shuttle with accompanying rocket, was the perfect decoupage birthday card to make. Sorry about the blurred photo of the card below.
Alas Nasa’s Space Shuttles are now winging their way to a honourable retirement, but it is exciting to wait for their replacements. I’m thinking SpaceX might be the ‘chosen one’, but I think over the next couple of decades, we will undoubtedly see more than one type of space vehicle superseding the Nasa shuttles as objectives change and they boldly go where……
In the meantime the Russian Soyuz craft are doing a fantastic job of taking people to the International Space Station. I’m very impressed with the Soyuz project.
Hello Andrew,
Happy belated birthday to you!!!!:)
Thats a very wonderful Card. Well done Sarah!!:D She really knows what you like. *sweet*
I hope you two had a nice time.
All the best*Linn*
Cheers Linn 🙂 I love the card also.
In years gone by I’ve spent my birthday with family, friends, in Spanish bars, out for the day and all sorts of day trips. This year I had to work half my birthday. 🙁 When I did get to relax at home, I was exhausted, but my wonderful better half spoiled me and we relaxed together.
Hope all is well. Cheers for dropping by.
Andrew

Oh and Happy Belated Birthday!!! I hope you had a great time.
Take care.
Hi Tracey,
Awww cheers for the kind words. My better half is amazing and makes wonderful cards. I didn’t have a clue that she was making me this card. Worked half my birthday, but the second half of my birthday was relaxing, annoying my better half.
Thanks for dropping by, the kind words and hope you are having a lovely weekend.
All the best
Andrew
